Lyndon came to us on the first day of our whole school music week, starting with a performance to the whole school using his handpans. Truly inspirational for the children and staff. Tailoring the day to our requirements he worked with all of our children over the day in small groups, providing hands on experience of percussion to make music, history and personal inspirational stories. At the end of the day he stayed on to talk to teachers to give help and advice for our week ahead. Lyndon provided an exciting and inspirational start to our week, he was great with the children and even came back as a guest to see the children’s performances on the Friday afternoon.
Highly recommended!
Thank you Lyndon!!"

Lyndon came and inspired our whole school with a wonderful assembly. He was incredibly knowledgeable about various musical cultures. He was incredibly engaging with all the different age groups. He worked closely with our Key Stage One children and they all loved joining in with the drumming..

The children enjoyed experiencing the music of Lyndon Forster and the handpan this week. He performed a range of pieces, showing the difference between major and minor keys and sharing his philosophy of why he is a musician with the children. It was a wonderful contrast to hear an instrument that none of the children had heard live before. Thank you to Lyndon and Polka Dot Concerts.

Local Spark: Torbay Community Supported Enterprise CIC has been delighted to support Lyndon as he developed his ideas for PanKind. He pitched his business idea at the Local Entrepreneur Forum in June, and attracted lots of support from local people. PanKind is such a great idea – using the rich, mellow tones of the Handpan to make music which helps people to celebrate life’s milestones. It is just as great in a therapeutic setting – calming and uplifting.
